The programme
Having a desire is itself morally wrong.
How it can show up
I condemn wants before examining them, distrust my body or confuse an impulse with a decision to act.
The effect
Moral judgement replaces discernment, increasing shame and obscuring whether a chosen action is ethical.
Counter-programme
I can notice desire without obeying or condemning it and choose actions by consent, values and consequences.
