Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of Matrix Codes / Matilda, including app access, events, subscriptions, referrals, community features, and paid offers.

Last updated: 8 May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service apply when you access our website, register for an event, create an account, purchase a plan or ticket, use Matilda, participate in community features, or join related programmes.

By using the service, you agree to these terms and any other policies or product-specific terms we link to from checkout, events, or in-app flows.

2. Adults Only

Matilda is for adults aged 18 and over. The service is not aimed at children and should not be used by anyone under 18.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and controlling activity that happens through your account.

You must not share your account in a way that bypasses access rules, payment rules, or security controls.

4. What We Provide

Matrix Codes / Matilda provides educational personal-development tools, assessments, events, memberships, AI-assisted features, community spaces, and related support.

Features, product structure, access levels, and programme names may change over time as the service evolves.

5. Important Disclaimers About the Service

Matrix Codes / Matilda is not therapy, crisis support, diagnosis, medical advice, financial advice, legal advice, or tax advice.

The service is educational and informational. You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and use of any output, prompt, recommendation, or material provided through the service.

6. AI Output Limitations

Some features use AI providers to generate responses, interpretations, summaries, or guided content.

AI output may be incomplete, mistaken, generic, or unsuitable for your situation. You should not rely on it as a substitute for qualified professional advice or urgent support.

7. Paid Plans, Billing, and Stripe

Paid plans, subscriptions, and some tickets are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store full card details on our own servers.

Pricing, billing intervals, renewal terms, access rules, and any offer-specific exclusions may be shown at checkout or in your account. If they conflict with a general statement on this page, the more specific checkout or product terms apply.

8. Events and VIP Tickets

We may offer free events, paid event upgrades, VIP tickets, replays, workbooks, chat access, or Q&A access. Event and VIP access may depend on registration details, payment confirmation, and account matching.

Event details, timing, replay access, and bonus delivery may change where reasonably necessary for operational, technical, or legal reasons.

9. Referrals and Affiliates

Referral rewards and affiliate commissions are subject to separate Affiliate Terms.

Nothing in these terms guarantees eligibility, approval, payouts, or earnings under the referral or affiliate programme.

10. Community and Private Messaging

If community features, VIP chat, private client messaging, or similar features are available, you must use them respectfully and lawfully.

We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe a user is abusing the service, violating these terms, or creating risk for other users or the business.

11. Prohibited Use

You must not use the service for illegal activity, abuse, harassment, threats, hate speech, spam, scraping, unauthorised automation, reverse engineering, data extraction, or attempts to bypass payment, entitlement, or access controls.

You must not make misleading claims about Matrix Codes / Matilda when sharing the product, referring users, promoting events, or participating in the affiliate programme.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless we say otherwise, Matrix Codes owns the app, software, copy, brand assets, workflows, visuals, prompts, event materials, and other service content, together with related intellectual property rights.

You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, or exploit our materials beyond the rights clearly given to you through the service.

13. User Content Licence

You keep ownership of content you submit, but you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate the service, provide features, improve delivery, maintain security, and comply with law.

This includes storing session content, assessments, messages, and related data in order to provide account history and product functionality.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, non-payment, legal compliance, product integrity, or breach of these terms.

You may stop using the service at any time, but that does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless a refund right applies under the specific offer or applicable law.

15. Refunds and Cancellations

30-Day Refund Policy: Includes a 30-day refund period for first-time Discover and Decode subscription purchases.

Refunds do not apply to renewal payments, VIP services, live events, workshops, assessments, explorations, books, digital downloads, founder offers, beta offers, lifetime deals, or other one-off purchases unless explicitly stated at checkout.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal billing from the next applicable billing date. Cancellation does not itself create a refund right unless the first subscription payment qualifies under the 30-Day Refund Policy or applicable law requires otherwise.

See the dedicated Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy for more detail.

16. Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, specific results, or that the service will be error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page and may apply from the stated update date.

18. Contact

If you need help with billing, support, or legal questions, contact us through the support or contact methods provided on the site or in the app.
