Procrastination

Wanting to take action again

“I wanted to focus on myself again. I wanted to move. It felt natural.”

Natalia described setting goals and making plans, then freezing. Days and weeks passed, and the shame grew heavier. Trying harder did not seem to help.

During her work with Matrix Codes, she identified associations including Weight Loss = Success, Success = Pressure and Pressure = Breakdown. She also explored Failure = Dismissal and a chain linking money with power, abuse and rejection.

She worked through the associations and introduced alternatives, including Money = Freedom, Freedom = Service and Service = Connection. She described feeling emotion and joy when working with the statement “Connection is possible here and now.”

Her account was not an uninterrupted success story. She reported several days of anger after the initial work, followed by a renewed desire to act. The book quotes her: “The procrastination just… wasn’t there anymore. I wanted to focus on myself again. I wanted to move. It felt natural.”

This is Natalia’s reported experience. The books do not document a long-term follow-up or measured change in income or weight.

Perfectionism & rest

Making room to pause and return

“Rewriting Codes is fun.”

Joanna

Joanna’s case study describes an all-or-nothing approach to projects. If she could not finish something in one burst, she would abandon it. She either pushed herself to exhaustion or struggled to begin.

The associations explored in her account included Starting = Obligation, Rest = Failure, Perfection = Worth and Pause = Laziness. The story connects these with childhood messages about earning her keep and finishing what she started.

Recognising these associations brought an emotional moment of insight. The book quotes Joanna saying, “Rewriting Codes is fun.”

The author describes the change as being able to start, pause, rest and return without the guilt and shame that had previously accompanied a break.

The outcome above is the author’s account, rather than a direct quote from Joanna. The book does not record a follow-up period or a measured project-completion result.

Connection & avoidance

More present in everyday life

Jakub

Jakub explored associations including Poverty = Purity, Mistakes = Failure, Perfection = Acceptance and Overthinking = Control. His account describes fear of failure, pressure to be perfect and procrastination.

The association that stood out most was Isolation = Safety. He connected it with emotional withdrawal he had noticed in his father and later recognised in himself.

After working with this code, Jakub wrote: “I feel more emotional space now. Less rejection in social situations. Less avoidance. More stability.”

He continued: “I'm not running from discomfort anymore — I can sit with it. I'm showing up differently: more responsible, more honest, more present.”

This is Jakub’s own reported change. The book does not document how long these changes lasted.

Money & business

Beata

Beata’s account begins with a business that was not growing despite previous mindset work, affirmations and journalling. She described the feeling that wealth was not for people like her.

She explored chains including Wealth = Distance = Separation = Pain, Success = Pressure to Repeat = Failure = Shame, Receiving = Debt = Obligation = Loss of Freedom, and Earning = Exploitation = Bad Person = Rejection.

After working through these associations, she reported: “I noticed a significant increase in sales of my products.” The book places this change within weeks, but does not give sales figures or independently attribute the increase to the method.

Her story also describes a later period of doubt about her practitioner work. She explored further associations relating to healing, attention, loss and fear.

Beata wrote: “After releasing and disconnecting these codes, I feel much lighter. I want to work with them with even greater enthusiasm.”

This account describes Beata’s experience of her own business and work. It is not a client-confirmed testimonial about outcomes for her clients.
